Lahore : The Pakistan Cricket Board recently issued its players' central contract for the 2020-21 season. The PCB had dropped three players from the annual central contract list, out of which two players have left the board's official WhatsApp group. Pakistan team's fast bowlers Mohammad Aamir and Hasan Ali have killed the left of the PCB group in Khunas after being kidnapped and out of the central contract.
According to the Cricket Pakistan report, team sources were quoted as saying that it was not uncommon for players to voluntarily leave the group. The group was formed by PCB for issues and fitness recommendations, but Aamir and Hasan Ali left the group after being removed from the central contract list. Veteran bowler Wahab Riaz was also named in the list of players excluded from the central contract, but he is still a part of this WhatsApp group of PCB.
Last week, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) divided 18 male players into four categories and handed them over to the central contract for the 2020-21 season, which will come into effect from July 1. Naseem Shah and Iftikar Ahmed are the newcomers in the central contract, while the rest of the players have been drawn since last season. However, the PCB also said that fast bowlers Mohammad Aamir, Hasan Ali and Wahab Riaz are the contenders for the selection.
Hasan Ali even made a controversial tweet, which was later deleted after being excluded from the annual central contract list. Hasan Ali played his last match against India at the World Cup 2019 in Manchester. After this Shaheen Afridi was given a constant chance. At the same time, Mohammad Aamir wore the green jersey of Pakistan for the last time in the T20 series against Australia. Aamir has also retired from Test cricket.
