IPL cannot be done without foreign players- Co-owner Kings XI Punjab

New Delhi : The Indian Premier League is the most popular of the T20 leagues played in the world. Kings XI Punjab co-owner Ness Wadia believes that it would make no sense to host foreign players without it. The T20 League, which began on March 29, could not be started due to Corona virus infection and has been postponed indefinitely.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India is planning to host it in September-October this year. There have been such statements from the BCCI that the tournament can be organized after the monsoon. If the ICC T20 World Cup to be held in Australia is postponed, the IPL can be replaced instead.

There has been a mixed response from the owners of franchise teams to organize the tournament. Like the Rajasthan Royals, such statements were made that it should be imposed in a protected place without foreign players. The three-time winning team Chennai Super Kings did not agree with the Royals idea. Now the team of Kings XI Punjab has also not justified to do it without foreign players.

Speaking to PTI, the franchise company co-owner Ness Wadia said, "The IPL is an international tournament created by the people of India. It needs international platforms and international stars."

I think there are a lot of things affecting the BCCI right now so that it is difficult to assess that How long it can be done. Suppose that if the case starts tomorrow, what will happen then? At this moment it would not be wise to think of anything other than Kovid 19. "

It can last for a month or two. Once the virus is out, then things will become clear to us when IPL is made. Or where it can be done.
