Babar Azam is huge on Virat Kohli, became the number one batsman of Ish Sodhi's Fab Five

New Delhi:  New Zealand cricket team leg-spinner Ish Sodhi spoke on a number of issues during the CrickTracker Instagram Live session. During this chat, he selected his 'Fab Five' or five favorite players in international cricket and also told which of them he found it most difficult to bowl.

Who can be the world's top five cricketers can be a long debate. At the international level, there are many players who have proved themselves in the last several years and many players were fighting for Sodhi's Fab Fib list. Apart from these names, he also considered the name of Babar Azam.

Reacting to the batting of Babar Azam, Ish Sodhi said that in his fab fib, Babar Azam is the only batsman against whom bowling is the most difficult. He said that bowling them is a very difficult task and especially in the UAE condition. In Sodhi's selection of Fab Fib, he has placed Babar Azam in the first place. He then included Steve Smith, Kane Williamson, Virat Kohli and Joe Root.

Babar Azam has proved himself right now in every format of cricket and he is very consistent in the matter of scoring runs. Many cricketers have called him the great batsman of Pakistan in modern day cricket. He is currently the world's number one batsman in the ICC T20 rankings. He has scored 3359 runs in 74 ODIs while he has scored 1471 runs in 38 T20 Internationals. He has 1850 runs in 26 Tests to his name with 5 centuries and 13 half-centuries. He is currently the third batsman in ODIs and the number five batsman in Tests.
