New Delhi : Virat Kohli and Babar Azam are being compared very well these two batsmen these days. New Zealand spinner Ish Sodhi even called Babar Azam the world's number one batsman in his fab fib and placed Virat at number four. Now England spinner Adil Rashid compared Virat and Babar Azam and told who is better in both.
Adil Rashid described Babar Azam as a better batsman than Virat Kohli. However, he made it clear that he has kept the current batting form behind this selection. That is, on the basis of the current batting form, Adil described Babar as the better batsman than Virat. He also said that it is difficult to choose which of these two is the best because both are world class batsmen and are highly talented.
Adil said that it is difficult, but if you look at the current form of both, then I think I will put Babur up. I consider Babar the best batsman based on his current batting form. Although both are world class batsmen. Adil Rashid said this while talking at the crease TV.
Virat Kohli's current batting form is a matter of concern for Team India and Adil is not wrong on this. He struggled to score runs throughout the New Zealand tour and was able to score only a half-century during the entire series. Although he looked in good form during the T20 series, as the series progressed, his batting continued to weaken. In the first ODI, he scored an innings of 51 runs, but after that he could not even cross the 20-run mark.
After the ODI, India faced a clean sweep in the Test series against New Zealand and Virat scored just 38 runs in four innings. It was one of the worst Test series of Virat's career. Babar Azam recently appeared in very good form in the Pakistan Super League. At the same time, he was successful in scoring runs in the home series against Bangladesh. His great form also benefitted him a lot in the ICC batting rankings.
