Now the Sri Lankan Cricket Board has given severe punishment to Shehan Madushanka. SLC has banned fast-lender Shehan Madushanka from all types of cricket with immediate effect. The country's cricket board said on Tuesday that he was arrested on charges of possessing illegal drugs.


Sri Lankan police have said that Shehan Madushanka was caught by the police on Saturday with 2.7 grams of heroin and has since been remanded to police custody till June 2. On the other hand, the Sri Lankan Cricket Board said in a statement, "The decision to suspend will remain until the matter is fully investigated by SLC." Shehan, who has made headlines by taking a hat-trick in an international debut match, is in the news this time due to wrongdoing.


Let me tell you that 25-year-old Shehan Madushanka made his ODI debut against Bangladesh in January 2018. Shehan Madushanka took a hat-trick in the same match. Shehan Madushanka, who played for the Sri Lankan team for one ODI and two T20 Internationals, was ruled out due to injury. These two are being questioned.
