New Delhi : S Sreesanth was perhaps the fastest bowler in India's international cricket who has been in the most controversies. Now he made a tremendous disclosure that when he was in trouble, in the last few years most of the players of the team who knew him had kept distance from him, only Virender Sehwag and VVS Laxman were in touch with him.
37-year-old Sreesanth was banned for life by the BCCI after being found involved in 2013 IPL spot fixing. In 2019, the Supreme Court reduced his ban to 7 years because no evidence could be found against him. In an interview to Indya Today, Sreesanth said that most players of the national team ignored him in public. Only Sehwag and Laxman were the ones who were in their touch during their worst days. He said that I knew why everyone behaved like this. However, some things have changed in the last few years.
Sreesanth said that he once met Harbhajan Singh at the airport and said that when he returns to the game, he will use his company's bat. Although I talk to many players now. I recently spoke to Sachin Paji on Twitter. I keep exchanging messages with Sehwag. I also met Gautam Gambhir recently.
Sreesanth, who wants to return to Team India, said that in public, most players avoided me except Veeru Bhai, Laxman Bhai and only three to four other people kept in touch with me. I also understood his apprehensions and I did not even try to join him as the court proceedings were going on against me.
