Pakistani fast bowler Hasan Ali suffered back injury, now surgery will not work

Karachi : Recently the Pakistan Cricket Board i.e. PCB had released its annual contracted players list, in which the team's fast bowler Hassan Ali was not named. Hasan Ali was out of the team for a long time. He was not even able to perform well because he had a back injury. Due to this injury, he had to lose the central contract and now he will have to go abroad for treatment of his back injury.


According to sources in the Pakistan Cricket Board, Hasan Ali has been suffering from injury since the World Cup in England last year. Despite the injury, he played in the Pakistan Super League or PSL, due to which he got back injury. The source has said, "He has felt more of a back problem since late April and the PCB has sent his medical report to medical experts in Australia and some other countries for advice."

He said the Pakistan Cricket Board was ready to send Hasan Ali to Australia or any other country, but sought advice from experts to have surgery done for his back problem.

Along with Hasan Ali, veteran fast bowlers Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Aamir have also been dropped from the Central contract released on Wednesday. Hasan Ali was not happy with the PCB's annual contract outing and tweeted. However, he deleted the tweet shortly after. At the same time, Pakistan team coach and selector Misbah-ul-Haq had said that he has been excluded from the central contract due to fitness.
