Only 4 batsmen have scored 400 or more runs in a Test match, know who is included

New Delhi : Test cricket is the oldest format of international cricket. Test cricket was organized more than 140 years ago. Since then, Test cricket has been played continuously, but only four occasions have come when someone has scored 400 or more runs in a Test match. The surprising thing is that not a single Indian player is included in this list.

Only one batsman has touched the 400-run mark in an innings of a Test match, but a total of 4 batsmen have scored 400 or more runs in both innings of the Test match. Even just one batsman has crossed the 450-run mark in a Test match. Former England team legend Graham Gooch set a world record by scoring 456 runs in a Test match, which is unbreakable even after 30 years.

Graham Gooch scored 333 runs against India in the first innings of the Test match at Lord's on July 1990, while he scored 123 in the second innings. In this way, he scored 456 runs in both innings. This is followed by Australian veteran batsman Mark Taylor, who scored 334 runs in the first innings against Pakistan in October 1998 and 92 in the second innings. In this way, he scored 426 runs in a match.

Former Sri Lankan team captain Kumar Sangakkara is named third in the list of highest run scorers in a Test match. Sangakkara scored 319 runs in the first innings against Bangladesh in February 2014, while he scored 105 runs in the second innings of the same match. In this way Sangakkara scored 424 runs in a Test. West Indies batsman Brian Lara is the only player in this list who scored 400 runs in the same innings of the same Test match.
