37-year-old Indian cricketer will write his autobiography after retirement, 5 years and desire to play

New Delhi : Indian fast bowler S Sreesanth interacted with his fans at the Hello Live session. During this chat, he said that he will write his autobiography after he retires from cricket. The 37-year-old bowler is currently banned, whose term will end at the end of September this year.


This right-handed fast bowler made his international debut in the year 2005 and was known as a very aggressive bowler. Sreesanth made headlines due to his controversies more than his performance. The biggest earthquake in his life came in the year 2013 when he was caught in the spot-fixing scandal in IPL and after that BCCI had banned him for life.

In 2019, the Supreme Court had reduced this ban and reduced it to seven years. Now he is ready to return after a long gap on the field. At the same time, he also said that he wants to play for Team India again in the future and for this he is fully preparing himself.


In a live session on the Hello app, Sreesanth told fans about his post retirement plan. He said that after retirement he will write an autobiography which will remain around his cricketing career. He will clearly state all the things related to himself in his book. He said that cricket can be just one game for another, but cricket is the reason for his life in this world, it is like a breath for me. He also expressed his wish that he wants to play cricket for 5 more years.

Sreesanth was part of the 2011 ODI World Cup winning team and the final match of this World Cup proved to be his last match for India. He has never been a part of the team since then and was banned in 2013. Sreesanth participated in 27 Tests, 53 ODIs and 10 T20 Internationals for India.
